CY2022 Training With Industry Selections
It is my pleasure to announce the officers selected for the CY2022 Training With Industry (TWI) Program. TWI is a 12-month program providing Supply Corps lieutenants and lieutenant commanders with the opportunity to represent the United States Navy while serving in fellowships with some of the nation's top corporations. Officers selected for this program will be exposed to executive-level decision making and expand their professional supply chain and logistics education. Navy leadership will leverage learning and knowledge gained by these officers during their fellowship in order to improve Navy’s end-to-end supply chain effectiveness.
The officers selected are:
Starbucks Coffee Company (Seattle, Washington) LCDR Taylor A. Shipley, PG Duke University
The Home Depot (Atlanta, Georgia) LCDR Paul J. Kloepping, COMUSSOCOM
ExxonMobil (Houston, Texas) LCDR Gale A. Cook III, DLA HQ
FedEx (Memphis, Tennessee) LCDR Travis M. C. Grayum, CNSSC HQ Millington
Alternates:
LCDR Jordan T. Stephens, PG University of Kansas
LCDR Jennifer A. Traul, NAVSUP WSS Mechanicsburg
LCDR Daniel F. Hinkley, USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69)
Upon completion of their respective fellowships, each selectee will serve a three year follow-on tour in one of our key supply chain management assignments as a key leader of the supply chain vanguard.
Please join me in congratulating these officers for their selection to represent our Supply Corps in the private sector.
