What: Volunteer Opportunity at the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore’s Beer and Wine Tent during the Holiday Yule Log Bonfire and Holiday Marketplace
When: Saturday, 2 December 2023 1100-1400 and 1400-1700 
Where: Town Point Park, 113 Waterside Dr, Norfolk, VA 23510
 
NSCF-HR has an incredible opportunity to volunteer with the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore next weekend.  December 2nd the NSCF-HR will be manning the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore’s beer and wine tent at the Holiday Yule Log Bonfire and Holiday Marketplace. All proceeds from the sales go to the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore. The Holiday Yule Log Bonfire and Holiday Marketplace is on December 2nd at Town Point Park, by the downtown Norfolk waterfront. The  NSCF-HR has two time slots for volunteers at the event: 1100-1400 and 1400-1700.
 
We need 20 volunteers to fill our two volunteer slots.  Families are more than welcome, however servers/volunteers must be 21 years old.

What: “Ugly Sweater” 124th Army vs Navy Game Watch Party

Event Details:
  • Santa will be visiting and available for photos from 1530 to 1630. Don’t miss this opportunity!
  • To increase our community outreach; we have partnered with “The Noblemen” to conduct a Toy Drive for children in need. Please bring a new, unwrapped toy donation. All age range toys will be accepted!
  • Flavor Savor BBQ food truck will be on premises, please visit https://www.flavorsavorbbq.com/ for menu details.
As always; bring cash to participate in the 50/50 raffle. Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. Winner of the raffle takes home half of all proceeds!
