Congratulations to our 2019 Foundation Chapter of the Year Winners!

Our Foundation Chapters shined in 2019! Balls, Fairs, Golf Tournaments, Tailgates, Bake Sales, Parades, Festivals...so many opportunities for members to enjoy commardarie, networking, fundraising and community outreach. Thank you to all 37 Foundation Chapters for your dedication to supporting our Supply Family all over the
globe in 2019! 

Hampton Roads Chapter (large chapter) 
The NSCF-Hampton Roads Chapter Theme for CY 2019: 

"Reinvigorating chapter participation through monthly events that achieve camaraderie, while strengthening member networks, partnerships through community service, and achieving increased fundraising efforts."

The Chapter Goal: "Increase overall participation of Chapter Members at events, while balancing operational members' presence with non­operational and retiree involvement."







 

 Mechanicsburg Chapter (small chapter)

 The NSCF-Mechanicsburg Chapter CY 2019 Chapter Internal Events:
 
  • Supply Corps Ball (Recognition): Commemorated the 224th Supply Corps Birthday, re-affirming the camaraderie, in a Mardi Gras setting.
  • Choptoberfest (Camaraderie): Brought together Chapter members, friends, and family to enjoy outdoor games, pumpkin painting, and bounce houses.  
  • Summer Picnic (Camaraderie): Chapter members and families enjoyed outdoor activities and food while building relationships.
  • Children’s Holiday Gingerbread House Decorating (Family Support): Supply Corps families and alumni gathered to share fellowship and decorate hand-made Gingerbread Houses.
  • Annual Charity Auction (Financial Support): Largest fundraiser which benefited the NSCF Scholarship Program and LEEK Hunting and Mountain Preserve for wounded Veterans.
  • Golf Tournament (Financial Support): One of the largest fundraising events which helped to build partnerships between the community and Chapter.
  • Professional Development Program (Training and Development): Build relationships between the private sector and Chapter members, while
  • providing best practices insight. 
          




Philadelphia Chapter (small chapter)
The NSCF-Philadelphia Chapter CY 2019 Significant Impacts:
  • CAPT John D. Titus Memorial Scholarship – Scholarship established with the NSCF in CAPT Titus’ name to be awarded Summer 2020.
  • NSCF Donation – Donated $4,000 to Foundation established with NSCF in CAPT Titus’ name to be awarded Summer 2020.
  • Sustaining Member Sponsorship Packages Established – Created year-long partnership program for large dollar value sponsors to build lasting, mutually beneficial relationships. 
  • Partnership with Travis Manion Foundation – Partnered with TMF to successfully raise funds and promote esprit de corps of both organizations.
