Dear Fellow Supply Corps Officers and Friends,
Please take a few minutes to read the March issue of the Foundation's eNewsletter--it includes three important topics related to our Community.
2023 - 24 Foundation Scholarship update
New this year, Scholarship application packages (including transcripts) may be emailed to the Foundation. Sending full packages electronically is preferred, however mailed packages will be accepted. All parts of the package must be received, through email or U.S. Mail, by March 17, 2023. Please call/email teresarhood@usnscf.com to verify receipt of package, if in doubt. The Foundation will award multi-year and one-time scholarships up to $10,000, with a minimum $2,500 scholarship award. Qualifying applicants are Supply Corps Officer spouses, children and grandchildren, and Supply Enlisted spouses and children. Spouse and Supply Enlisted dependents are strongly encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity. To begin the application process, visit the Foundation website Scholarship page »
Chapter-of-the-Year & Volunteer-of-the-Year Recognition Award nominations
Chapter-of-the-Year and Volunteer-of-the-Year nominations are due by April 15th. Each year we recognize the Foundation's most outstanding Chapters (self nomination) and ask Chapters to nominate individual volunteers who have made a significant contribution. Help us honor the wonderful contributions of our leaders. For information on the nomination process and submission guidelines click here »
IRA Charitable Rollovers
You may be looking for a way to make a big difference to help further our mission. If you are 70½ or older, an IRA charitable rollover is a way you can help continue our work and benefit this year. Benefits of an IRA charitable rollover include:
